About

Hi, I'm Vân.

I teach English and Vietnamese. I help learners turn what they know into what they can say.

I am a bilingual teacher based in Ho Chi Minh City. I teach English to Vietnamese and international students. I teach Vietnamese to foreigners, including international school students, expats and working professionals. Lessons run online and in person.

I have been teaching since 2008. My students include children in international schools and learners abroad, in the US, Canada and China.

Why "Architect"?

A house stands because someone drew it first. Language works the same way. Sounds, words and sentence patterns need a plan. Without one, you keep adding bricks and the wall never closes.

So I start with the drawing. Then we build, one floor at a time.

How I teach

  • Patient. You set the pace. I do not rush you past a gap.
  • Flexible.Goals change and so do schedules. The plan bends with you.
  • Short intensives for exams. When the date is close, we work in focused blocks on what the exam asks for.
  • Mind maps.We draw a topic on one page, so you can see how the parts connect.
